Academic Advising

Academic advisors are available to assist you in planning for success and achieving your educational, career, and personal goals.

Academic Support Resources/Tutoring

Moraine Park offers tutoring services to students who are experiencing difficulties in their courses.

Basic Education, GED, & ELL

Moraine Park offers Basic Education, GED, and English Language Learning services through our Student Success Centers, which are located on each campus.

Career Center

The MPTC Career Center provides adults and youth the tools to successfully plan and conduct a job search. Students can get help with their resume, attend mock interviews, and get a free professional outfit through our Career Clothes Closet!

Counseling Services

Counseling services, which are free and confidential, are available to assist you with personal, career, educational issues.

Disability Resources/Accommodations

A wide variety of services are available at all three MPTC campus locations to assist students with disabilities or special circumstances. Services are available for students who are deaf/hard of hearing; blind/visually impaired; have learning disabilities; have physical, language, speech or other health impairments.

Diversity Relations

In support of the College’s mission and vision statement, the Diversity Relations Office strives to promote cultural understanding, sensitivity, and overall respect for all backgrounds.

The EDGE – TRIO SSS

This is federally funded by the U.S. Department of Education TRiO program in cooperation with Moraine Park Technical College.  It offers support to qualified students for their success.

Non-Traditional Occupations

A non-traditional occupation (NTO) is defined as any occupation in which one gender makes up less than 25 percent of the workforce.

The Student Handbook is designed to help you understand the policies and procedures at MPTC, provide you with general information about our programs, student services, and other important information about the college.

Student Records

It is the policy of Moraine Park Technical College to comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA). Contact the Registrar’s Office for more information regarding your student records.

Testing Services

GED, HSED, Accuplacer and Credit for Prior Learning by Exam testing services are available.

Transition Specialist

The Transition Specialist provides specific enrollment and engagement information to potential MPTC students in the community and area schools.

Veteran Services

Veteran Services offers a variety of resources to student veterans, including: academic planning, financial resources, and assistance with the admissions process. Students also have the opportunity to get involved with the veterans community and join the MPTC Student Veterans Association.
