Early High School Graduates

If you are an ambitious, engaged student who will graduate with fewer than four full years of high school, you may be eligible for spring admission to MPTC as an early graduate.

Since this process can be complex, please work with our admission team before submitting an application.  We will work with you and your high school to create a customized college plan. Please call 920-924-3208, TTY/VP: Use Relay/VRS or email recruitment@morainepark.edu with questions or to begin the process.

Don’t let this long list scare you. We’re here to guide your way!

Early Admission Requirements and Considerations

  1. Graduate prior to the start of the spring semester.
  2. Your initial high school transcript must show completed course work through your junior year. Submit this transcript as part of the admissions process. Note: An official transcript showing final grades will be required once you have graduated.
  3. We ask that a high school official complete and sign the Early Graduation Verification form before you apply. Download electronic form here.
  4. Your high school’s fall semester may end AFTER MPTC’s spring (January) semester has started. This overlap must be addressed with your high school before acceptance.
  5. If you will have met all graduation requirements at semester but will not graduate until May/June (with your class), you are not eligible for early program admission or Financial Aid. Tuition and fees will be out-of-pocket. This is a federal student aid regulation.
  6. Before you graduate early, talk to your high school counselor about the benefit of staying in high school and taking MPTC courses through Start College Now. This program covers the cost of college courses while still in high school.
  7. Courses that require program admission prior to registration are reviewed for special approvals.
