Many nursing students share compassion and a desire to care for others. Morgan Diels has always dreamed of becoming a nurse.
Morgan Diel kick-started her nursing career while still in high school by earning her CNA (certified nursing assistant) through Moraine Park. She graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 2021 and enrolled in Moraine Park’s Nursing program. She is set to complete her associate degree in 2024 and intends to further her education by pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
“Nursing is a highly demanding career that brings new challenges everyday, but it comes with a real sense of job satisfaction,” Morgan said. “Helping people in need has a positive impact on their lives but also the community as a whole, which is equally rewarding.”
In 2020, Jackie Fuller joined the Nursing program at Moraine Park and is set to graduate this December. Since her enrollment, she has taken on the role of vice president for the Student Nursing Association and also serves as a member of the Beaver Dam Campus Student Senate.
When not in school, Fuller cherishes her time with her family. She is engaged and has two teenage sons who are fully supportive of their mother’s decision to return to school. They even assist her in studying by using flashcards and quizzes.
“From my initial meeting at Moraine Park, I was motivated to advance in my career. It took some time for me to step through those doors, but I am extremely pleased that I did. Moraine Park has been supportive throughout my journey, enabling me to pursue both of my passions.”
