If you like getting your hands dirty, troubleshooting problems and fixing things, the Advanced Industrial Maintenance Certificate at Moraine Park is a great option to gain entry-level employment in the industrial maintenance field, or to advance in your current role.
This certificate program builds on the Basic Industrial Maintenance Certificate and prepares students for work as technicians in factories and other industrial settings, maintaining and repairing a variety of conveying, processing and packaging machinery and equipment.
What You’ll Learn
Graduates of MPTC’s industrial maintenance technician training program gain hands-on experience in installation and repair of electrical and mechanical systems, motor controls and hydraulics systems.
Courses taken and successfully completed within this certificate may count towards an associate degree in Electromechanical Technology or Industrial Mechanical Technician. Please contact an academic advisor for additional information.

The cost of your degree depends on a number of factors such as total credits required, textbooks and the financial aid you receive. Some programs have additional costs such as uniforms, technology and equipment.

- $215.18 per credit (out-of-state resident)

High school dual credit provides high school students the opportunity to earn college credit while in high school, without leaving their high school classroom. The courses are taught by certified high school instructors using technical college curriculum, grading policies and textbooks.

Financial Aid is provided to aid eligible associate degree and technical diploma programs with 28 credits or more. Processing can take 6-8 weeks after a student’s completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is received.
