    • Please note that not all MPTC courses are eligible for the Credit via Experience process.

    • Don’t worry if you aren’t completely sure which courses to list. We can review the information you provide about your experiences and recommend some courses that might be good matches for you.
    • • MPTC’s Credit via Experience guidelines recommend that students possess a minimum of 2 years full-time experience to receive credit.
    • Briefly describe your previous experiences. Please note that additional information verifying these experiences will be required as part of your formal Credit via Experience request.

      Depending upon the course requirements, students will need to complete one of these options to verify the course competencies have been fulfilled:
      1. Portfolio - includes written reflections, artifacts and any supporting documents that demonstrate the mastery of course competencies.
      2. Demonstration - Consists of demonstrating the mastery of course competencies.
      3. Challenge Exam - comprehensive tests that will assess your skills and knowledge of specific course content.
