Communication Classes
With the Speed Spanish course, you will immediately start creating sentences and conversations in Spanish. Each lesson will introduce new techniques to increase your fluency quickly and allow you to start speaking Spanish right away.

Computer Classes
Discover how to make AI work for you in everyday life, not just at work. In this hands-on class, you’ll explore how to use AI safely and ethically, protect your privacy, and understand the differences between today’s generative tools and emerging “agentic” AI systems.
You’ll practice using AI to draft and polish emails and hard-to-write messages, simplify confusing documents, and quickly create event invites, simple charts, and visuals. You’ll also learn how AI can help you plan realistic trips, experiment with basic budgeting, and better understand stock performance. This course is designed for everyday community members, no tech background required.
This hands-on, project-oriented course is filled with easy-to-follow, detailed step-by-step instructions that teach you how to edit and manipulate images and create elemental compositions using Photoshop in the Creative Cloud. Discover how to improve photographs by editing out flaws, correcting poor exposure, or creating a composite image using the newest techniques.

Knowing how to create a spreadsheet with Microsoft Excel is key to effectively managing and organizing information. This online, self-paced course will introduce you to Microsoft Excel 2019 and teach you basic Excel skills.

Culinary Classes
Existing Certificate Holders Only—Refresh on updated food handling requirements to maintain certification in holding a Wisconsin Certified Food Manager Certificate (CFM). Utilize the ServSafe Exam to re-test at the end of class (online purchase required). Successful students will be issued a course completion certificate and testing is required every five years.
First Time Certificate Candidates—New to Food Safety? Obtain your first WI Certified Food Manager Certificate (CFM). Learn about food as it relates to temperature control of potentially hazardous food during prep, storage, transportation, and service. Cleaning, sanitation of utensils, personal hygiene, and special handling of potentially hazardous food items discussed. Valid for five years. Utilize the ServSafe Exam at the end of class (online purchase required). Successful students will be issued a course completion certificate after passing the exam.
Entrepreneurship Classes
Starting a home-based business is the hottest trend in today’s challenging business environment! Learn how to be your own boss and eliminate the stress of having a job. The benefits of working from home are endless!
Earn what you deserve, be independent, have tax deductions, do away with traffic, office politics and more! Learn how to develop the entrepreneurial qualities – motivation, discipline, creativity – that you will need to succeed! This class is a great way to start your own business or enhance the one you already have.

Finance and Accounting Classes
This introductory course provides a practical overview of QuickBooks and essential accounting principles. Participants will learn how to set up and manage company files, record customer and vendor transactions, handle banking activities, and create opening balances. The course also covers generating key financial reports, including balance sheets. Instruction is delivered using the current online version of QuickBooks accounting software, giving learners hands-on experience with real-world tools.
This advanced course builds on the concepts introduced in QuickBooks Fundamentals, providing in-depth, hands-on instruction in more complex QuickBooks functions. Participants will learn to manage physical inventory, process payroll, track job costs, and create professional estimates with customized formatting. The course also explores advanced financial reporting, including balance sheets, graphs, and customized reports to support informed business decision-making. Instruction uses the current online version of QuickBooks accounting software to reflect real-world applications.
Health and Wellness Classes
Hands-on healing that is effective for emotional, mental and physical health issues is currently being practiced at 800 hospitals and clinics throughout the United States. While focusing on the use of Reiki in the health care profession, this Japanese form of stress reduction and deep relaxation helps strengthen the immune system and promote healing for just about anyone. Join us to learn Level I Reiki so you are able to give a Reiki session to a patient and perform self-healing. A book is provided. Students will earn a certificate of completion.
Fine-tune your level one Reiki skills by increasing your ability to receive and utilize the Reiki energy. As practitioners, learn to feel high and low energy frequencies, practice distance healing, understand the use of symbols and learn body scanning and beaming. Prerequisite: Completion of Reiki 1. A book is provided in Reiki 1 for both Reiki 1 and Reiki 2. Students will earn a certificate of completion.
Develop tools, techniques and symbols of the master level to become a Master Practitioner. Receive a Level 3 attunement that will increase your ability and understanding to receive and utilize the Reiki energy and allow you to become a Master. Prerequisite: Completion of Reiki 1 and 2. A book is provided. Students will earn a certificate of completion at Reiki Level 3 Master.
Trades Classes
Explores the fundamentals of forklift operation in the workplace. Students receive hands-on application by practicing with a forklift. Participants examine factors affecting safe operation for the operator, the load, the forklift and the physical environment. Certification is available upon completion for propane, electric and pallet jack forklifts (types I, IV, V). Class is compliant with OSHA standard 1910.178 for powered trucks. Forklift books are included in the cost and will be distributed by the instructor the day of the class.
This 15-hour workshop provides basic knowledge of welding. It is ideal for beginners, skilled trades-people, career changers, continuing education training. Topics include: welding terminology, safety, machine setup and shut down, metal identification, plasma cutting and GMAW welding processes and positions and equipment functions. Practice your new skills to make quality gas metal arc welds on metals of different thicknesses. Bring safety glasses. Helmets and gloves are provided.
Take your welding skills to the next level in this workshop. Advance your skills and incorporate new metals and thicknesses. You will develop advanced welding techniques and receive instruction to give your welds a more professional appearance. Includes other welding processes. Required to have taken 442-425 Welding Process GMAW Workshop I. Bring safety glasses. Helmets and gloves are provided.
Introduction to safety and set up of welding equipment and maintenance of welding equipment. Introduces Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) skills on mild steel and stainless steel in the flat, horizontal and vertical down positions. Students learn safety, welding terminology, setup and operation of welding equipment. Welding operations are performed in a lab setting, applying a variety of industrial applications welding on sheet steel and stainless steel.

Class Fee Overview:
- Classes marked (ed2go ONLINE) are provided in partnership with ed2go and follow a separate, external registration and payment process linked in the class description.
- Class fees include tuition and classroom/lab material fees. Out-of-state residents pay an additional $78.73 per credit.
- Class fees do not include textbooks or other supplies unless noted.
- Senior discounts are available for seniors 62 and over for most classes.
- Tuition is due within 3 business days of registration.

- If a class is full, please request to be placed on the waitlist. Waitlists are compiled on a “first-come, first-served” basis. Students on a waitlist for personal enrichment or continuing education courses will be notified via their personal email. Students have 24 hours to reply to the email or the next person on the waitlist will be contacted. Please inform Enrollment Services if your contact information changes.
- Audit policy: Students may choose to audit undergraduate (UG) level courses to gain a general understanding of the subject matter. The student must submit a completed Audit Course Intent Form at the time of registration. Audited classes do not earn credit, and standard tuition, fees and withdrawal policies apply. Students auditing a course may not be added to a wait list.
