Explore Dual Enrollment Options

Taking dual enrollment courses is a way for high school students to earn college credit while they’re still in school. They can apply dual enrollment credits (Dual Credit or Start College Now) to a Career Academy to earn a certification during their high school years. It also helps make college more affordable and allows students to experience college-level classes before they actually start college.

Main benefits of taking dual enrollment courses:

  • Explore careers early.
  • Earn a Moraine Park certification.
  • Save tuition and get transferable credits.
  • Get a degree sooner.

Option 1: Dual Credit Courses

High school students take classes at their high school during the school day and earn college credits from high school teachers who are certified to teach college-level courses.

Option 2: Start College Now Courses

High school students take classes in person at one of four Moraine Park locations or online, taught by Moraine Park faculty.
