In honor of Women’s History Month, the West Bend Student Senate and Student Veterans Club presents: “A Woman’s Perspective” from a Veteran of the Iraq War
Laura Colbert, the author of “Sirens: How to Pee Standing Up – an alarming Memoir of Combat and Coming back Home” who served in the Iraq War from May 2003 through July 2004 as a Military Police Officer, will be sharing the story of her tour in Iraq and her struggles coming home.
Tuesday, March 10th from 12:00pm-1:00pm in T101 (WB Auditorium); Live streaming in Fond Du Lac (E-141) and Beaver Dam (K-204)
Complimentary heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served
The presentation is intended for an audience of all ages and is open to Staff, Students and the Public.
Laura will have copies of her book for sale.
