GED®/HSED
Wisconsin offers two test options to adults who have not graduated from high school:
- GED® (Certificate of General Educational Development)
- HSED (High School Equivalency Diploma)

Testing Schedule
Accuplacer
Accuplacer is a test given to incoming students. The test helps determine a student’s skill level in reading, writing, and math. The test score helps determine the proper level of coursework for each student. A student’s score on the Accuplacer does not affect acceptance to MPTC.

Credit for Prior Learning and Credit Transfer
Credit may be granted to incoming students by exam, through occupational experience, and by transfer.
Career Assessment
The Career Centers offer free career assessments to help people discover their interests and suitable careers.
Pearson VUE
Pearson VUE Test Centers are available at all three Moraine Park campuses.
Computer-based tests administered by Pearson VUE, including the GED® and various academic,
IT certification, government, and professional program tests, are scheduled through pearsonvue.com.
Please note not all Pearson VUE computer-based tests are offered at Moraine Park. To see if the test
