GED®/HSED testing is conducted at the Pearson Professional Assessments lab located at each campus. Professional exams are administered in the same labs and at the same times GED®/HSED testing is offered. All scheduling of professional exams is handled through Pearson Professional Assessments. Once you begin taking GED® tests, there may be an option for online proctoring.
The first requirement toward earning your GED® or HSED is attending free orientation sessions through the Student Success Center. These orientation sessions include career aptitudes and will get you on track to meet your personal education goal. You will also complete reading and math assessments. The results of those will help determine your next step. To register for a GED®/HSED orientation, call 800-472-4554, TTY/VP: use Relay/VRS. You must be at least 18 years old by the date you begin orientation and complete the entire orientation.
No walk-ins are allowed. Tests may be scheduled up to midnight prior to desired appointment. Tests cannot be cancelled within 24 hours of desired appointment. Cancellations may not qualify for refunds. Please see GED® Testing Service website for more information.
Valid government issued photo ID is required for every testing session.
