High School Dual Enrollment

Unlock College & Career Success in High School

Help students explore dream jobs and careers while they’re still in high school. With little to no cost, they can earn college-level credit through dual enrollment courses and get a head start on their career.

Students can even apply their dual enrollment course credits to one of several High School Career Academies to earn a college-level certification while still in high school at little to no cost.

Each Career Academy is a set of classes focused on a specific career area, such as Business, IT, Healthcare, or Manufacturing.

  • Tuition and fees: The annual cost of tuition and fees at Moraine Park is around $4,800 compared to an average of between $7,444 and $32,472 at four-year institutions.
  • Financial assistance: 56% of students received financial aid, and total aid distributed reached $8,534,531 in 2024-25.
  • Dual enrollment: 3,724 students participated in dual credit courses, resulting in 15,707 credits awarded. The total savings on tuition and fees for students from all high schools served in 2024-25 were $2,476,407.

College Preview Days

Explore the programs that interest you most, tour campus, and connect with instructors, students, and staff. Learn about admissions, financial aid, and student services. Choose two program areas to visit in advance, enjoy hands-on exploration, and take part in prize drawings and other fun extras.

Seniors can apply for free at the event, juniors can get a head start on planning for next year, and parents will find helpful resources to support their student’s college journey.

Career Experience Events for Students in Grades 9–11

Students in grades 9–11 are invited to experience campus life, explore exciting career paths, and dive into fun, hands-on activities that bring learning to life.

Students will also learn how High School Career Academies give them an early start on college and their future career. Space is limited, so register today

Program Highlight

Quality and Advanced Manufacturing Technology

Taryn Reese’s interest in manufacturing was sparked early, fueled by the metals and welding courses she took at New Holstein High School. This initial exposure to the world of manufacturing left a lasting impression and eventually led her to Moraine Park Technical College.

After graduating high school, Reese attended a four-year university. However, like many students during the pandemic, she found the experience challenging and decided to enter the workforce instead.

She later began looking into local technical schools and found courses at Moraine Park that aligned with her interests and career aspirations.

Student Feature

Student Emergency Fund: Zachary Schultz’s Story

In 2025, Schultz faced an unexpected health challenge. A serious stomach issue left him unable to eat, caused him to miss classes and resulted in a hefty hospital bill. Already balancing school and financial responsibilities, the expense put his academic progress at risk. 

That’s when Schultz turned to Moraine Park’s Student Emergency Fund, which he first learned about through the College’s counseling center. The application process was straightforward—he submitted proof of financial hardship along with his hospital bill. Because the expense exceeded $500, he received the maximum award.
