The Human Resources Assistant Certificate program at Moraine Park Technical College is perfect for developing new or seasoned supervisors into effective leaders and coaches in a diverse workplace.

About the Program

Moraine Park’s accelerated HR certification program meets for four hours a week for six weeks and is designed to help current or new supervisors improve their effectiveness as a leader through better understanding, communicating and implementing of organizational policies. Students in the Human Resources Assistant Certificate program learn about safety and legal issues as it relates to employment, and human resource management. Courses in this certificate can be customized for on-site company training.

What You’ll Learn

The Human Resources Assistant Certificate is designed to give participants the knowledge they need to navigate ever-changing employment laws. Students develop skills and tools to enhance employee performance, motivation and development, and ideas to improve workplace safety and health programs. 

The courses in this certificate transfer into the Human Resources associate of applied science degree.
