The Accounting Assistant program combines hands-on training with classroom instruction to prepare students to work in entry-level accounting positions. Students learn accounting concepts and procedures and become skilled in accounting software programs.
What You’ll Learn
Students in the traditional and online Accounting Assistant program learn from seasoned instructors who have worked in the field. Graduates are prepared to process financial transactions, perform payroll preparation, complete analysis and reporting tasks, and analyze basic financial and business information.
Courses from this program transfer into the Accounting Associate of Applied Science degree.

Tuition Costs
The cost of your degree depends on a number of factors such as total credits required, textbooks and the financial aid you receive. Some programs have additional costs such as uniforms, technology and equipment.

- $215.18 per credit (out-of-state resident)

Financial Aid is provided to aid eligible associate degree and technical diploma programs with 28 credits or more. Processing can take 6-8 weeks after a student’s completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is received.
