Important Information to Know
Program courses for 1st year students meet on Tuesday and Thursday, and 2nd year students meet on Monday and Wednesday. There are some evening courses required.
Technology Requirements
- Adobe Creative Cloud subscription is required for this program. You may purchase a student discounted price from the eCampus Bookstore. The eCampus Bookstore cost is currently half the price of the Adobe student pricing.
- A laptop computer is required – either Microsoft Windows based PC (the preferred Operating system) or an Apple MacBook Pro. The 3D Studio Max program is a Windows based program that does not run on the Mac OS computers. Most students choose the Windows option because they have the processing power you will need for video production and 3D graphics, at a more affordable rate than the MacBooks.
- Online students will need access to a drawing tablet with a drawing pen (see the suggested tablets listed below). There are Cintiq drawing tablets in the classrooms for students who choose face-to-face classes.

Drawing Tablet – Online students will need access to a Pen Display drawing tablet with a stylus pen
The drawing tablet must be able to connect to your laptop or computer to be able to run the Adobe Creative Cloud software. There are a wide variety and cost of various drawing tablets.
