Library Technology Support

Printing is easy on a library desktop computer using your MPTC login credentials.

When your document is ready to print, select Print from the File menu. The library printer will automatically appear as the default printer. There will be a second confirmation box verifying the printing cost to your account. After clicking on “print” the job will print from the library printer/copier machine.

It is also possible to print from a person device; to learn more, follow these Web Print instructions.

Students can add money to their printing accounts when the balance is low. Check your balance by locating the PaperCut icon Papercut printing iconon the task bar or logging into your PaperCut account at myprint.morainepark.edu/user.

Upon logging in to the PaperCut site, print funds may be added using a debit or credit card by selecting the “Add Credit to or Your Account” option.

Students can also add money to their PaperCut balances at any campus library circulation desk with exact cash.

Each library has a Mac installed with Adobe Creative Cloud software, which may be used in conjunction with a connected Wacom drawing screen.

A few of our library computers also are set up to provide access to an array of CAD programs. Ask your librarians about which computers have the program you’re looking for!

MPTC students, staff, and faculty can use the MPTC Lab Lookup tool to see computer software available.

In this example search for items on “reading,” you can see there are several filtering options on the left side of the screen. Results may be filtered by campus library location, type of resource, subject, or publication date to find the most relevant and/or current resources. The Format filter may also be used to exclusively locate and access digital articles, eBooks, and eVideos for immediate use.

  • If the content is not your original thought or work, be sure to properly cite the source.
  • AI tools draw on information available online; always evaluate the accuracy and reliability of their responses.
