Library staff at each campus are available to meet with current students who need guidance on research assignments and engaging with library tools. Assistance is offered with navigating databases and articles, evaluating sources, creating citations, and more.
MPTC employees are encouraged to refer students who are just getting started with their course work or those who need to refine their skills.
Students can refer themselves for help by selecting the ‘student’ option below. Students have the option to meet at a campus of their choosing or virtually via Teams.
We will evaluate the referral during normal business hours and determine the best time to meet with the student. Appointments will be scheduled for 30 minutes to an hour depending on the need.
Assistance is meant to fill an immediate, specific need and is not for ongoing instruction. Students needing extensive assistance will be advised to enroll in a course or seek tutoring.
