Non-Program Course Takers

Step 1: Check if you require prior approval

If you’ve received an email from MPTC Enrollment Services confirming prior approval, scroll down for Step 2:

If you would like to take a course with pre-requisites, click the button below to request prior approval:

Note: You will be asked to upload your high school transcripts, previous college transcripts, or ACT/SAT scores to obtain permission to register.

Are you unsure if you meet the pre-requisite requirements to take a course?
1. View Class Offerings 
2. Choose the tab of the term you would like to take a class in
3. Search for the course and use the green arrow to view the Course Description

Step 2: Verify registration dates

These will be the registration dates for the term you will be taking a course(s) in:

Registration for Spring 2025 is open.

Registration will open on April 1st for Summer 2025.

Open Registration – April 29, 2025

Open Registration – December 2, 2025

Registration for Summer 2026 will open on March 31st, 2026.

Step 3: Register

Option 1: Register Using Your Student Account

Log into myMPTC Student
Select “myMPTC”
Select “My Student Center”
Select “Registration and Planning”
Select “Register for Classes”
Select Term and click “Continue”
Enter the class CRNs on the “Enter CRNs” tab and click “Add to Summary”
Click “Submit” to complete registration

Option 2: Register Using an Electronic Form

Include class title, course number (xxx-xxx) and 5-digit CRN
• You will be required to create or log into a Dynamic Forms Account to complete the registration form. (Once you have created one, navigate back to the Electronic Registration Form link above, use your username and password to log in.)
