Weekly Culinary Specials

Students in the Fond du Lac campus MPTC Culinary Arts program sell food items prepared in class. Sales are typically conducted in the Commons Area, while dates and times vary during each semester. The weekly sale information is posted here*.

Artisan Bread

Students in the second year of the Culinary Arts program enroll in the Artisan Breads Course where they learn all about the different methods of bread preparation. The fresh bread is for sale on Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m. in the Commons Area of the Fond du Lac campus. The breads are sold on a first-come first-served basis.

Park Terrace

The Park Terrace at the Culinary Arts Center is a student-lead restaurant on the Fond du Lac campus. Culinary Arts students create menus, recipes and table designs, as well as cook and serve the meals. Each student is given their own week to create the own restaurant theme. The fall semester is a pub-style restaurant, with each student creating the specials for the day. The spring semester allows students to theme the entire menu around their choice of ethnic cuisine.

* The items for sale may vary from the schedule, as they depend on each students’ understanding and mastery of the skill being taught throughout the coursework.
Cash, check, credit/debit, and all touch-less forms of payment are accepted.

Moraine Park Technical College is proud to offer a variety of Culinary Arts products to the greater Fond du Lac community.  We believe in providing our students and the community with a safe, inclusive, welcoming environment.  We value the feedback from the community to help our diverse set of students grow in their skills, accepting clients of every ethnicity, race, religion, gender, ability, age, size, identity and sexual orientation and we expect our clients to accept that in our students and instructors.  We foster and welcome diversity and inclusion and all the benefits it brings to not just the MPTC community, but the world.
