Automotive Professional Development

Keeping pace with technology can be challenging, and vehicles are no exception! Take our Automotive Professional Development offerings to keep your shop current as it relates to electrical systems and lab scopes. Snap-on certification testing after course completion is available for the lab scope and scan tool classes. Electrical courses will support completion of the A6 ASE electrical exam. Students can bring in their own lab scopes for the Lab Scope courses. Classroom education is combined with hands-on application; students are encouraged to bring in vehicles that relate to the electrical course content.

Automotive Electrical 3
Explore computer control systems and trouble-shoot using scan tools. Expand on electrical testing techniques covered in Automotive Electrical 1 and 2. Students should have significant scan tool experience. Classroom education is combined with hands-on application. Course prepares student for completion of A6 ASE electrical exam.

Automotive Electrical 4
Hands-on application of lab scope testing in a shop setting. Briefly reviews introductory concepts but utilizes application on vehicles with concerns on a more advanced level. Students are encouraged to bring vehicles with concerns. Students are encouraged to take Automotive Lab Scope prior to this course. Course prepares student for completion of A6 ASE electrical exam.
