A University Transfer degree program is a unique two-year program for students who are primarily undecided in their career. This program offers either an Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) degree pathway, both eligible for financial aid.
Upon completion, students will have an associate degree and are eligible to transfer to one of our 25 partner colleges at a guaranteed junior status.
Unlike our traditional Associate of Applied Science or Arts degrees, the AA and AS are specifically designed for students who are undecided and know they will be transferring to a four-year school—allowing them to complete general education credits and explore career pathways, all while taking advantage of the lower tuition and credit costs.
The Associate of Science degree offers the general education courses with a greater emphasis on science and mathematics. Graduate with an associate of science degree and transfer your credits to a four-year university and pursue a bachelor’s degree.
The AS degree is a good fit for students who may wish to pursue majors in areas such as Chemistry, Engineering, Health Science, or Computer Science. These are just a few examples.

NOTE: This program requires minimum Accuplacer QAS or ACT Arithmetic scores to register for the algebra classes. After you have been admitted to the program, your advisor will help you understand what courses are appropriate for your next steps.

3-Year Optimized Bachelor’s Degree
Moraine Park Technical College is celebrating a first-of-its-kind partnership with Yavapai College in Prescott, AZ. Together, they are the first two-year institutions in the nation to offer a three-year, 92-credit, optimized degree: the Bachelor of Applied Science in Business (BASB).
Students can enroll at Moraine Park in the Associate of Arts (AA) program, where they will complete a two-year associate degree with a business focus. After graduating, students can seamlessly transfer to Yavapai College to complete their BASB fully online in eight-week courses. The 92-credit, optimized degree structure is intended to help students complete a high-quality bachelor’s credential in less time than traditional pathways, while maintaining strong academic expectations and career-relevant learning outcomes.

High school dual credit provides high school students the opportunity to earn college credit while in high school, without leaving their high school classroom. The courses are taught by certified high school instructors using technical college curriculum, grading policies and textbooks.
