1. Submit Application

2. Submit Transcripts

Request that all official high school transcripts, or GED/HSED transcript and/or college transcripts be submitted to Moraine Park Technical College’s Admissions Office.

Before submitting this form, review the respective high school or college website to confirm the required payment and request process. It may require electronic submission.

3. Placement Assessment

Take a Placement Assessment, such as Accuplacer, ACT or Compass. MPTC offers ACCUPLACER placement assessment ($15 fee is non-refundable for no shows).

Most certificate programs do NOT require a placement assessment. Students will be notified if additional steps are needed.

4. Attend a Program Orientation

Program orientations are offered throughout the year. Lead by the advisor, you will be introduced to your program, the college, and resources to help you get started. Ask for Student Services at 1-800-472-4554 to schedule your program orientation.

5. Complete any Additional Requirements

Depending upon your chosen program, there may be additional admission requirements to complete the admissions process. Follow the admissions process related to your program for more information about what is needed.
