Program Waitlists
After completing the admissions process, students are accepted as a Pre-Core program student and added to the waitlist. The date of admission serves as the student’s waitlist date. Admittance to the program does not guarantee a set in the core program courses.
Students progress through the waitlist in three stages:
-
Pre-Core: Students begin by taking general education courses and work on meeting the academic preparedness criteria.
-
Core Ready: Once students have met the academic preparedness criteria, they are marked as “core ready” on the waiting list report. Based on their waiting list date and residency status, core ready students have priority over other admitted students in the following terms.
-
Core Active: As spots become available, core-ready students on the waitlist are notified via their student email. Once they accept the offer, they will work with their advisor on next steps, including enrolling in core program classes.
Please carefully consider the timing of your program start because the coursework can be demanding. Work with an advisor to determine the best time to begin the program. Planning ahead is your key to success.
