Moraine Park Technical College welcomed nearly 300 attendees and more than 40 vendors to its first Health & Wellness Fair on April 28 at the Fond du Lac Campus Conference Center.
The event brought together a wide range of local health and wellness resources, offering support for both mental and physical well-being. Attendees had access to free blood pressure checks, educational presentations and resources spanning mental health, nutrition, substance use, caregiving, housing, fitness and more. Services for children and teens, along with victim advocacy and veterans support, were also available.
The fair was developed as part of Moraine Park’s ongoing work to strengthen mental health support through its partnership with the JED Foundation, a nonprofit focused on protecting emotional health and preventing suicide among teens and young adults.
“Because mental health is closely connected to daily stressors and physical well-being, this event was developed through strong, college-wide collaboration to benefit both the MPTC community and the public,” Leslie Laster, director of student support services and diversity relations at Moraine Park, said.
Throughout the day, attendees had the opportunity to participate in presentations covering topics such as metabolic health, stress management, strength training and long-term care planning.
“The 2026 Health and Wellness Fair was outstanding. It was a very enjoyable experience for me as a new business owner from beginning to end,” Laurice Snyder, human-centered leadership consultant and birth doula with Rooted Wings LLC, said. “The event also had high social media visibility, allowing interested individuals to learn about me and other vendors before arriving. I felt the conversations I had with attendees were high quality. I’ve participated in many vendor fairs over the years, and I would say this one is at the top of the list.”
Thanks to everyone who made Moraine Park’s first Health & Wellness Fair a success!
