Moraine Park Technical College recently celebrated the accomplishments of 18 students who completed the Industrial Maintenance Boot Camp and Industrial Maintenance II Boot Camp during spring 2026.
Nine students completed the Industrial Maintenance Boot Camp on April 29, while nine additional students completed the advanced Industrial Maintenance II Boot Camp on May 7. The employer-sponsored training programs help manufacturing employees build the technical skills needed to maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment.
Throughout the boot camps, students gained hands-on experience in systems thinking, industrial controls, programmable logic controllers, hydraulics and pneumatics, power transmission systems and equipment troubleshooting. The Industrial Maintenance Boot Camp is designed for individuals with manufacturing experience who are interested in advancing into industrial maintenance roles.
Students represented a variety of regional employers, including Grande Cheese, Signicast, Kraft Heinz, International Paper, Metalcraft, MEC, Walsworth, JAT, MSI Express and Kleen Test.
