Moraine Park Technical College is celebrating a strong end to its 2025-26 academic year, with a reported full-time equivalent (FTE) growth of 7.4 percent—the highest percentage growth reported in the Wisconsin Technical College System.

As the College enters its 2026-27 academic year, it is celebrating success and growth in the following key areas:

  • Enrollments for 2026-27 are on pace to remain steady, maintaining the strong enrollment levels of previous years.
  • Overall program headcount is up by five percent—with the highest year-to-date program student headcount in six years.
    • Program student headcount comparison as of September 1:
      • 2022-23 – 2,575
      • 2023-24 – 2,651
      • 2024-25 – 2,936
      • 2025-26 – 3,185

  • Dual Enrollment continues to see significant year-over-year increases, with High School Start College Now FTE enrollments up by 35 percent.
  • Students enrolled directly from local public high schools rose 32 percent last year, from 317 in 2024-25 to 417 in 2025-26. Transition numbers remain strong, with 324 district high school graduates from 2026 enrolled year-to-date for 2026-27.
    • Data shows that 13 percent of district high school graduates choose Moraine Park in the following year.
  • Enrollment in Moraine Park’s University Transfer (Associate of Arts and Associate of Science) degree programs continues to see steady growth, with an increase in headcount of over 38 percent year-to-date.
  • The Department of Corrections online program enrollments saw a substantial increase, with a 30 percent growth in FTEs.
  • Moraine Park continues to earn student loyalty, with nearly 80 percent of eligible students returning each semester.
  • The College is seeing strong growth in nearly all health care programs, most notably nursing, respiratory therapy, medical lab technician, diagnostic medical sonography and surgical technology.
  • Moraine Park’s locations in West Bend and Horicon both underwent major remodels as part of their 2022 referendum project, and each campus is seeing an increase in enrollments.

Earlier this summer, Moraine Park also announced two new programs: Construction Management Technology and Anesthesia Technology—classes begin in Fall 2027; however, prospective students are encouraged to apply early to reserve their spot and begin planning for enrollment. Both associate degree programs are eligible for financial aid.

The College has multiple events this fall for prospective students and community members to visit campus, view new spaces and learn more about Moraine Park.
