Moraine Park Technical College, in partnership with Marian University, will host its 9th annual veteran suicide awareness walk, 22 No More, on Saturday, April 25. The event consists of a 2.2-mile ruck march/walk to raise awareness around the alarmingly high veteran suicide rate and honor those who have lost their lives.

A 2.2-mile ruck march/walk (backpacks are optional) will occur on Saturday, April 25, 2026, around the Fondy Soccer Complex adjacent to Moraine Park’s Fond du Lac Campus. The walk begins in the B-1 parking lot just off Campus Drive, Fond du Lac. Local mental providers and veteran support organizations will have information available.

A free lunch will follow the walk.

This event is free, open to the public and pet-friendly. Participants are not required to wear backpacks to participate, but are encouraged to carry a photo of a veteran who died due to suicide. The event is sponsored by Moraine Park’s Veteran Affinity Group and Marian University. Donations are accepted and will help fund future events and assist the group’s mission to serve veterans.
