MPTC Apprentice Earns National Recognition

Mark Singletary, Apprenticeship grad holding his diploma and award.

Congratulations to Moraine Park Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) apprenticeship graduate Mark Singletary of AMCS, Inc. for taking home the gold at the 2025 National Craft Championships (NCC) on Feb. 27 in Las Vegas!

Singletary secured his place at the national competition after earning the top score at the ABC Wisconsin Skills Competition on Dec. 10 in West Bend. His outstanding performance at the NCC showcased the expertise and dedication he has honed throughout his apprenticeship. The national competition consisted of a two-hour online exam and a six-hour hands-on performance test.

Now in its 36th year, the National Craft Championships highlight the talent and skill of nearly 200 of the country’s top craft professionals. Competitors put their abilities to the test in trades such as carpentry, drywall, electrical, fire sprinkler, HVAC, instrumentation, millwright, power line, welding, and more—competing for top honors in 15 competitions across 11 crafts.

Mark’s gold-medal achievement is a testament to the strength of Moraine Park’s apprenticeship programs and the incredible talent within the ABC community.

Congratulations, Mark—we’re proud of you!
