The Moraine Park Foundation received a generous gift from the National Exchange Bank (NEB) Foundation of $50,000 to honor the Foundation’s 50th anniversary.
The Moraine Park Foundation was founded in February of 1976, and since then has provided more than $5 million in scholarships to students—made possible by the generosity of community partners, like NEB Foundation, as well as service organizations, businesses, alumni, employees and retirees.
“Moraine Park is a place where our community grows and progresses. We are fortunate to be able to support their mission and provide these scholarships, investing in our future leaders,” Adam Stone, a board member of the NEB Foundation, said.
In celebration of its 50th anniversary, the Moraine Park Foundation hosted its anniversary gala on April 23, where Stone presented a check to Dana Bourland, the Foundation’s executive director, and John St. Peter, a long-time member of the Moraine Park Foundation Board.
“The Stone family has been champions of Moraine Park students and the Foundation for many years,” Bourland said. “They have made generous investments in several important initiatives, such as the Promise program, which provides scholarships for low- and middle-income students, the Fond du Lac Automation, Innovation and Robotics Center building campaign, and the West Bend Advanced Manufacturing Center equipment campaign. We are extremely grateful for their continued support and their generous contribution, which will make education affordable for hundreds of Moraine Park students.”
From scholarships and emergency assistance to textbook grants and other essential resources, the Foundation has helped remove financial barriers for thousands of students—allowing them to pursue an education, build meaningful careers and create more stable futures for themselves and their families.
The Moraine Park Foundation will continue to celebrate its 50th anniversary through 2026 and invites the community to support the $50 for 50 initiative. Contributions help ensure scholarships and support are available to students who need them most—today and in the years ahead.
