Moraine Park is celebrating a successful Ribbon Cutting and Open House event at its West Bend Campus, which welcomed an estimated 400–500 community members, students, and community partners. Guests had the opportunity to tour the newly completed Advanced Manufacturing Center, the third of four projects made possible through the College’s $55 million referendum, approved by voters in November 2022.
The celebration featured two special events: a Donor Open House, which recognized and welcomed the many partners who generously supported the campaign to equip the new facility, and a Community Open House, where the public was invited to explore the new spaces, meet faculty and staff, and experience firsthand how Moraine Park is preparing the future workforce.
The event highlighted the hands-on learning spaces and state-of-the-art equipment that will prepare students for high-demand careers in manufacturing. Faculty and staff showcased programs, answered questions, and demonstrated how these new facilities will benefit both students and local employers. The evening celebrations were made even more memorable with a fun and engaging performance from the Milwaukee Tool Shed Band.
The Advanced Manufacturing Center is a proud investment in the region’s workforce, designed to strengthen the pipeline of skilled talent and support the area’s business and industry needs.
Looking ahead, Moraine Park will continue advancing the final referendum project, the Health and Human Services project in Fond du Lac, while building on its mission to provide accessible, high-quality education for the communities it serves.
