Moraine Park’s Welding Boot Camp is back for Fall 2025—and it’s more than just a training program. It’s a life-changing opportunity designed to prepare you for success in a skilled trade, at no cost to you. Take the first step toward a high-demand, hands-on career.
Across Wisconsin and the nation, employers are seeking trained professionals to fill essential roles in manufacturing and skilled trades. Moraine Park’s Boot Camp programs were developed to meet this growing demand with short-term, targeted training that equips students with the skills for entry-level welder positions, employers need. Since 2012, over 400 individuals have completed our Welding and CNC Boot Camps and gone on to build strong careers in these in-demand fields.
What to Expect
The 12-week Welding Boot Camp is intensive and immersive. Participants gain real-world experience through a 144-hour paid internship and complete coursework in:

Thanks to support from local resource partners and Workforce and Training (WAT) grants, the Welding Boot Camp is completely free to participants. This ensures that financial barriers won’t stand in the way of those ready to pursue a better future.
Upon completion, students earn a Moraine Park certificate and 14 college credits, which can be applied toward further education and career advancement.
