Moraine Park Foundation Receives $25,000 From Fond du Lac Area Foundation

The Moraine Park Foundation has received a $25,000 donation from the Fond du Lac Area Foundation. The gift will support the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment for the renovated Health and Human Services wing on Moraine Park’s Fond du Lac Campus.

Moraine Park’s new Health and Human Services wing on the Fond du Lac Campus is a 44,926-square-foot project, including an 8,908-square-foot addition, that will modernize classrooms, labs and simulation spaces to reflect real-world settings found in hospitals, long-term care facilities, clinics and emergency service areas.

The Moraine Park Foundation spearheaded the $750,000 campaign to fund the equipment for the Health and Human Services wing. This expense was intentionally separated from the referendum dollars to help keep the taxpayer burden at a minimum. The Foundation is currently connecting with district partners to help meet the equipment needs—as of fall 2026, donors have contributed over $560,000.

“Strong communities depend on skilled professionals who are prepared to meet the needs of the people who live and work here,” Greg Giles, Executive Director of the Fond du Lac Area Foundation, said. “This grant ensures students have access to the equipment, technology, and hands-on training they need to succeed. This investment goes beyond the classroom by building a strong local workforce.”

The new facility will serve more than 500 students annually across multiple programs, including Emergency Medical Services, Medical Assistant, Medical Lab Technician, Nursing, Radiography, Respiratory Therapy and Surgical Technology, many of whom will go on to build their health care careers right here in our district communities.
