Moraine Park’s surgical technology students had the opportunity to learn from industry professionals at ThedaCare Ortho, Spine, and Pain Center in Appleton.
With the direction and guidance from ThedaCare and their instructor, Nicole Sexton, students Emma Beightol, Savana Kintzler, Jenna Olson, Emy Schema, Lilly Schneeberg, Jacob Schreiber, Olivia Siebold, Kayla Smith, and Marissa Wieser learned about orthopedic specialties, orthopedic instrumentation and practiced rotator cuff repairs and fracture management.
This experience highlights the power of industry partnerships in helping students discover career pathways and gain confidence for their future.
