Moraine Park Technical College is opening its doors to 9th through 11th grade students for a hands-on look at future career opportunities.
Through a series of Career Experience Events this fall and spring, students can explore programs within their chosen career cluster, connect with Moraine Park staff and students and discover how to get a head start on their college education.
Participants will learn about Career Academies and how to leverage dual enrollment courses—earning college credit while still in high school. Parents/guardians are encouraged to attend, and each event includes interactive activities in program areas.
Event details:
- Time: 8-11:30 a.m.
- Who can attend: High school freshmen, sophomores, juniors and their parents/guardians
- Registration: Required; space is limited. Registration opens about three weeks before each event.
