Moraine Park Technical College instructor Dr. Bruce Forciea was recognized with the Educator Award by the Effordability Summit for his groundbreaking integration of AI-generated content in Anatomy & Physiology and Pathophysiology courses. The delivery and integration of OER within the educator’s professional practice has profoundly impacted student outcomes and/or an extended community of practice among educators.
The Effordability Summit, held annually in the spring at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, is a regional conference focused on affordable, high-quality curricular content. It welcomes educators and professionals across K-20. Topics include open educational resources, inclusive access, equitable teaching practices, and innovations aimed at reducing educational costs and enhancing sustainable open education programs.
