Moraine Park Students Make an Impact Through Service

Bonnie & Angela Rucinski

At Moraine Park Technical College, community engagement and student success go hand in hand. Our students don’t just learn in the classroom—they take their skills into the community, creating real-world impact through service-learning and volunteerism.

Each semester, students are encouraged to participate in Moraine Park’s Community Impact Awards Program, where they can track their service hours, reflect on their experiences and earn recognition for their contributions.

During the Spring 2025 semester, 19 students were honored for their dedication, logging more than 1,100 hours of service across our communities.
