Moraine Park Technical College recognized the hard work and determination of more than 217 students at its 2024-25 GED and HSED Completion Ceremony, held May 22 at the Fond du Lac Campus. More than 60 graduates participated in the ceremony, surrounded by proud family, friends and Moraine Park staff.

The annual event honors individuals who have completed their GED or HSED through Moraine Park’s Adult Education programs. These programs help students build foundational academic skills, explore career pathways and prepare for postsecondary education or the workforce.

“Earning your GED or HSED isn’t just about passing tests, it’s about proving to yourself and the world that you are capable of anything,” Pete Snyder, associate dean of adult education, said. “So, tonight we don’t just celebrate what you accomplished, we celebrate the person you had to become to accomplish it.”

To complete the GED, students must pass five nationally recognized tests in Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, Math and Civics, along with Career Awareness training. HSED students complete additional coursework in Employability Skills and Health Literacy.

Each year, graduates go on to pursue college degrees, job opportunities and personal goals—equipped with the confidence and resilience built through their experience.

Congratulations to all our 2024-25 GED and HSED graduates!
