Robotic Welding

This Robotic Welding Boot Camp is intended for welders looking for training in robotic welding. (Pre-requisite is Introduction to Welding Processes course or ability to test out.)

Skills developed will provide experience in:

  • Programming of Robotics
  • Implementing robotics and advanced manufacturing technology
  • Increasing productivity, reducing costs, and improving quality

Robotic Welding Program Courses and Academic Credits

These credits will be included in the Introduction to
Welding Certificate earned upon successful completion of the boot

This tuition-based program is open to anyone with experience in welding.

  • Classes meet on Mondays
  • Eight hours a day
  • All classes  held at Moraine Park-Fond du lac



Boot Camp Criteria

Must have taken the Introduction to Welding Processes course or be able to test out to be accepted into the boot camp. Upon acceptance, students will attend classes one day per week. Classes will be held at Moraine Park Technical College’s Fond du Lac Campus (235 N. National Avenue, Fond du Lac) in room E-156/157.

Information and Testing Sessions

Individuals interested in participating are required to attend an information and testing session. Registration is required 24 hours prior to the information and testing session. The session will include program information, welding test (if needed), job opportunities, and a tour of the welding lab and NEW robotic work cell. Allow up to 2 hours.
