Moraine Park Technical College is hosting Coffee & College, an information night for adults interested in learning more about the College. This informal event is designed to help attendees jump-start their education and career.

Coffee & College is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 5, at Moraine Park’s Beaver Dam campus; Wednesday, Feb. 13, at the West Bend campus, and Thursday, Feb. 21, at the Fond du Lac campus. The events begin at 5:30 and will last approximately one hour.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about programs, have on-demand transcript reviews, apply for summer or fall 2019, and take mini career assessments.  One-on-one assistance from Moraine Park’s financial aid specialists will also be available to help attendees submit their FAFSA. This service is available anytime between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on each of the designated Coffee & College evenings. Light refreshments will be provided.

“This event is designed to assist those still exploring their options, as well as those who are ready to start,” Erin Wierenga, recruitment specialist at Moraine Park said. “Participants can expect a low-key and casual atmosphere with a more one-on-one approach to guiding prospective students through the enrollment and registration process.”

For interested adults who are unable to attend the in-person event, Moraine Park will also be hosting a Facebook event on Wednesday, February 13. This event is designed to provide the same information, on a different platform. The College will be live on Facebook at noon, but the video will remain on the feed for those to watch at their convenience.
