DESCRIPTION:Stop by the Cafe to celebrate Greek Culture and what makes its cuisine so good. \nFree for Students; Staff – $1  while supplies last. \nFood is crucial to Greek culture\, but as Ancient Greek philosopher Epicurus once stated\, “[w]e should look for someone to eat and drink with before looking for something to eat and drink.” It isn’t only the food that makes Greek food culture what is is; the crucial element is the social act of sharing food. \nThe traditional Greek diet is based around vegetables and fruits\, wholegrains\, beans and legumes\, fish\, and some dairy like cheese and yoghurt. Because of the climate\, Greece is rich with an array of fruits and vegetables\, and many Greeks work in or adjacent to agriculture (or at least grow lots of food in their own gardens) – so utilising good quality raw ingredients is a no-brainer. Alongside the Greek propensity to cover everything in olive oil (a healthy fat)\, Greek and Mediterranean Diets are regarded as some of the healthiest in the world.

Not just within Asia but in other countries as well it has spread its popularity. As Indian Cuisine is influenced with lots of culture and tradition\, a unique and perfect blend of different tastes can be enjoyed well. With so much diversities\, Indian food offers a satisfying experience making the Indian Cuisine so unique and delicious. \nAnother factor that makes Indian Cuisine so unique is the use of number of ingredients especially spices used to create a simple dish. Different types of ingredients gives a variety of flavors to the food that explodes in the mouth. Also\, these spices enhances the taste of the food and gives it a completely fresh and subtle texture to enjoy.

It is rich in flavor and taste from the herbs and spices used in the preparations. Asian cuisine features multicultural dishes from diverse cultures and origins from southeast Asia\, Europe\, America\, and around the globe. Asian food is reminiscent of people that have visited Asia or have had the Asian cuisine taste – a taste of Asia. Asia is a large region which makes it difficult to pick out traditional Asian dishes. The food from this region is influenced by the history\, experiences\, culture\, and lifestyle of the people.
