SUMMARY:Auschwitz Virtual Live Tour
DESCRIPTION:The Auschwitz Virtual Live Tour provides a unique learning experience about the Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp for students\, faculty\, staff\, and community members. \nThe tour is led by a professional tour guide from Poland who uses historical footage; Holocaust survivor testimonies; and modern animation combined with videos\, photos\, drone footage\, and virtual reality tools to teach about the horrors that happened in the world’s most infamous concentration camp. Content about Elie Wiesel’s Memoir “Night” will be incorporated into the tour. \nThe official program starts at 10am and will end at 12:30pm CST. Attendees may choose to stay for a 30-minute debrief/Q&A after the tour. \nPlease register here for this event. \n

DESCRIPTION:How would you like to be presented with a valuable\, collectible work of art… FOR FREE!? \nA few artists will set up and put on a show of the unique art style called “Spray Can Art”. They will produce 5×7 paintings at the rate of one painting every 3 to 5 minutes. Done on poster board with a spray can\, the artist uses a strange array of tools to manipulate the paint. It’s a show in itself! \nJoe is an accomplished New York City street artist who was struck by lightning while standing on his apartment roof. He taught himself to paint while recovering\, and when he conquered the streets of NYC\, he moved to Florida where he teamed up with three other artists who each have their own unique artistic style. \nJoe and his trained artists are awesome to work with\, they put on a great show\, and at the end you will have a lifetime memento. \nFREE for all MPTC students!
