The Self-Paced Computer (SPCS) concept means you may start a class at any time within a semester; with an end date set prior to semester end. Class expectations and completion dates are communicated during the required face-to-face orientation.

Online lab hours via Zoom

Online lab hours via Zoom: Mondays, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Tuesdays 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Link to online meeting appears on the Course Home page, in the Announcements, and will be emailed to all registered students.

Orientations: (required for all students) are on Mondays at 11:00 a.m. and Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. Please complete orientation within the first two weeks of the summer semester.  No appointment needed. Additional evening orientation times are available by appointment.  Please email instructor for more information.

Please note: Final date to submit work is December 3, 2020.

Notes to Students: After orientation, you may work on your own or may continue to meet online and work with an instructor weekly.

Attendance: Attendance for the Zoom lab hours not required for self-paced courses after the orientation.

Course Completion: More than one course may be taken during the semester. Complete one course before beginning another.

Software Requirements: Classes must be completed using the latest version of Microsoft 365 and using the current textbook (either etextbook or print.)

Textbook/Access Code Requirements: One MyLab IT access code is required for all Self-Paced courses.  You may reuse the same access code for multiple classes (no need to purchase an access code after your first class.)  A free etextbook is included with this access code. If a print textbook is preferred, these are available for in the bookstore or online.

Software is provided at no charge to all students. Microsoft Access students must use a PC as Access does not run on Mac computers.
