Paralegals, also known as legal assistants, assist lawyers with a variety of tasks (please note: paralegals do not provide legal advice).
Students in the Paralegal program learn to interview clients, prepare for hearings and trials, and research the law. Graduates are skilled in preparing legal documents and legal correspondence. Paralegals are also skilled investigators and analyzers. Paralegals need to be detail-oriented, organized and have strong communication skills.
