Black Belt Completion Program
This workshop prepares participants for the ASQ Six Sigma Black Belt Certification test. Participants who have successfully completed the Green Belt Certification and project are eligible to enroll in this program. Total training includes 48 hours of classroom instruction.
Black Belt Program Spring 2017 Dates:
- February 1, 2, 15, and 16
- March 1 and 2

Instructor: Doug Woolridge, ASQ Six Sigma Black Belt
$1,900 per person. Price includes materials, lunch and refreshments.
Note: Each participant must have completed the Green Belt Certification and is required to have a laptop computer with Minitab software for the duration of the training.
After a twenty year career in industry, Doug Woolridge joined MPTC. His background includes experience in engineering, quality, continuous improvement and world-class manufacturing. He has held a variety of roles in the transportation, recreation and consumer products industries, including Finite Element Analysis Engineer, Quality Engineer, Senior Process Engineer and Six Sigma Black Belt.
Woolridge has led and mentored numerous Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement teams to successful project completion. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University and earned ASQ certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt in 2006.
Woolridge regularly holds training sessions, helping businesses in all industries improve performance by implementing continuous improvement principles in Lean, Six Sigma, Quality, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing, Blueprint Reading and Data Analysis.
