When and how will you find out if a Moraine Park campus is closed unexpectedly due to inclement weather or other emergencies?
Here’s the When
Inclement Weather Closings
Notifications to the radio stations and programming of messages on the outgoing campus phone numbers and weather emergency phone numbers will be made by approximately 5:30 a.m. One campus closing will result in all campuses being closed. If the College closes for the day, evening classes will also be cancelled. Decisions for evening classes only will be made by 2:00 p.m.

Here’s the How
Moraine Park has four methods to notify students, staff, and the general public when campus is closed due to inclement weather or other emergencies. Here’s where you’ll find the notification:
Check the Moraine Park Website
On the homepage of morainepark.edu, there will be a notice if campus is closed.
Closing information will appear on the myMPTC login screen and on the Home tab’s College Announcements Channel.
Call one of Moraine Park’s Weather Emergency phone numbers
If campus is closed, a message will be recorded on the emergency and main campus phone numbers stating campus is closed.
Beaver Dam – 920-877-4555
Fond du Lac – 920-924-660
West Bend – 262-335-6000
Weather emergency phone numbers are published in both the “white” and “yellow” pages of the MORAINE PARK listing in the Beaver Dam, Fond du Lac, and West Bend public phone directories.
Listen to your local Radio Station or Watch your local TV Station
NOTE: Although MPTC attempts to notify the majority of radio stations in the surrounding area, we cannot contact every one of them.
