High School Opportunities
GED/HSED
Wisconsin offers choices and options to adults who have not graduated from high school. Two of those options are: the Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) and the High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED).
High School Alternative Program
Students who are at risk of not graduating from high school may attend Moraine Park Technical College as an alternative high school. The student, parent or guardian, high school contact person, and High School Alternative Program instructor must enter into a written contract that defines the services that will be provided to the student.
Tech Prep
Start earning Moraine Park Technical College credits without leaving your high school, at no cost to you. Through Tech Prep, you'll get real-world, hands-on experiences that will get you thinking about your future. Tech Prep works to prepare you for the high-skill, high-demand technical careers of the future.
Upward Bound
Upward Bound is for students who have completed 8th grade, but not yet completed 11th grade. You must be able to maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and be taking college prep high school classes. You should have the desire to go to college. Eligibility is based on your family income and parents’ education level.
