When should I apply?

Typically, high school students begin the admission process in the fall of their senior year.  Most of the programs have an ongoing admission process. However, some programs have wait lists, application windows and additional admission requirements. Students wanting these programs may need to apply sooner or take extra steps to be ready for college after graduating from high school. That makes it extra important that you check the admission process specific to your program area.

Will I get a job when I graduate?
Moraine Park consistently achieves 92 percent or higher graduate placement.

Is campus housing available?
Campus housing is not available. However, there are some area resources that may be helpful.

What can I get involved in?
Moraine Park has plenty of college life - - picnics, musicians, movie nights and holiday celebrations are a few ways to socialize on campus. If you're interested in networking and leadership opportunities you can join Student Senate, program-related clubs or social clubs.

How will I know if Moraine Park is right for me?
The best way to decide if Moraine Park is right for you is to do some research. Learn as much as you can about our College and your career area. This includes reading the college catalog, surfing the Web site, and visiting our campus.

I'm not sure which program I want. Can you help?
We offer excellent (and free) career services where students can work one-on-one with a careers instructor or in workshops to help create their own career and educational plan.

Will Moraine Park credits transfer to a four-year college?
The credit transfer question is always tricky. Generally, Associate Degree courses are the ones that transfer but the exact number of credits will depend on the school and program that you transfer to. In some cases, we have agreements with schools that allow you to easily transfer all your credits. Ultimately, the school to which you want to transfer makes the decision.
