ABC Carpentry Apprenticeship

Four Years
Campus: Fond du Lac
Carpentry includes residential, commercial and industrial buildings and structures such as bridges and dams. In this trade, you will be involved with layout; concrete forming; wood and metal framing of walls, floors and roofs; window and door installation; and a wide variety of interior and exterior finish applications. You will also learn to use a variety of hand and power tools. Physically demanding indoor and outdoor work with variable weather conditions. Work may involve being below ground or on scaffolding.

Application Requirements
Applicants should be 18 years of age and must forward the following to ABC: (1) completed apprenticeship application, (2) copy of birth certificate, (3) copy of high school transcript or GED, (4) copy of driver’s license, (5) completed Employer Sponsorship Application and (6) ACCUPLACER or GATB test results of medium or high.
ACCUPLACER tests are given at Moraine Park testing centers. Call for ACCUPLACER test appointments: Beaver Dam 920-887-4428, Fond du Lac 920-924-3408 or West Bend 262-335-5767. GATB tests are given free of charge at local Wisconsin Job Service Centers.
