General Studies

Today's jobs demand that employees communicate well orally and in writing, solve problems, and work effectively in teams. Moraine Park's General Education courses give students the tools to do all of these.

General Education requirements vary slightly for each associate degree program. Specific requirements can be found on the "curriculum" page of each associate degree program. Most require the courses in the list below.

The titles, numbers, course descriptions, competencies and performance standards for the *associate degree courses are consistent throughout the Wisconsin Technical College System and will transfer to any of the other technical colleges. Many four-year universities and colleges also accept them for transfer credit. These courses are available at all three Moraine Park Technical College campuses - day and evening and in a variety of instructional formats.
