Liability/Insurance
All users are responsible for damage caused to persons or property as a result of intentional or negligent conduct during their use of the facilities or equipment. All users shall agree, in writing, at the time of filing their application for use to hold Moraine Park Technical College harmless with respect to any damage to property or injury to persons occurring as a result of their use of the facilities or equipment. User is responsible for the College's reasonable attorneys' fees and costs incurred to enforce this procedure including, without limitation, the above hold-harmless obligation.
Moraine Park Technical College carries liability insurance to cover the district board, staff and students involved in College activities. Individuals, groups or organizations using the College's facilities should make arrangements to provide adequate insurance coverage for themselves and those participating in the event.
At the discretion of the campus coordinator, liability insurance may be required at the expense of the renting individual, group or organization. The Certificate of Insurance shall be filed with the Building and Grounds Office three (3) days prior to the event.
