AQIP

The Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) infuses the principles and benefits of college-wide continuous improvement into Moraine Park’s culture by providing an alternative process through which our already accredited institution maintains accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). Through AQIP, Moraine Park demonstrates that it meets accreditation standards and expectations through a sequence of events that align with those ongoing activities that characterize organizations striving to improve their performance. AQIP processes include:

  • Improving Quality: Strategy Forum, Action Projects and Annual Updates
  • Taking Stock: Systems Portfolio, Systems Appraisal and Quality Checkup
  • Reaffirmation of Accredited Status through AQIP and the Higher Learning Commission
    • Moraine Park recently received confirmation of maintaining accreditation through 2015.

The Quality Council is a cross-functional team that was created as a result of group acitivites at the February 2006 Strategy Forum.  The group  facilitates annual AQIP activities and promotes them throughout the college.  The Quality  Council's Vision is to be LEAN:

         Leverage our Mission

         Enhance Student Success

         Apply PDCA

         Nurture employee participation
